DESCRIPTION:Celebrating a Shepherd\, Honouring a Journey\, Continuing the Mission \nThe Diocese of Nebbi is preparing to warmly welcome the Archbishop for a special Farewell Visit scheduled for 2nd–3rd October 2026. \nThis important occasion provides an opportunity for the clergy\, Christians\, leaders\, friends and well-wishers of the Diocese to come together in thanksgiving and appreciation for the Archbishop’s ministry and service to the Church. \nIt will be a time to celebrate his journey\, honour his service\, express our gratitude\, and send him forth with love\, prayers and blessings as he continues his journey of service. \nA Call for Financial Support\nAs we prepare for this significant occasion\, the Diocese of Nebbi kindly appeals to Christians\, clergy\, friends\, well-wishers\, institutions\, organisations and partners to support the preparations for the Archbishop’s Farewell Visit. \nThe successful hosting of this occasion requires the collective support and generosity of the Diocese and its friends. \nEvery contribution\, regardless of its size\, is deeply appreciated. \nYour financial support will help the Diocese make the necessary preparations and ensure that this special occasion is conducted in a dignified and memorable manner. \nLet Us Come Together as One Family\nThe Archbishop’s Farewell Visit is more than an event. SUMMARY:Nebbi Diocese to Host Northern Region Women’s Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:Women from Across the Northern Region to Gather for Four Days of Faith\, Fellowship and Spiritual Renewal\nNebbi Diocese is set to host the Northern Region Women’s Conference from 15th to 18th December 2026\, bringing together women from across the Northern Region for a significant gathering of worship\, fellowship\, prayer\, Bible teaching and spiritual renewal. \nThe conference will be centred on a theme drawn from Acts 2:42–47\, which presents a picture of the early Christian community devoted to the apostles’ teaching\, fellowship\, breaking of bread and prayer. \nThe passage provides a strong foundation for the conference\, emphasizing unity\, faith\, fellowship\, generosity\, prayer and care for one another. \nA Gathering of Faith and Fellowship\nThe four-day conference will provide an opportunity for women to come together as one Christian family\, strengthen their faith and encourage one another in their walk with Christ. \nParticipants are expected to take part in worship services\, Bible teachings\, prayer sessions\, testimonies\, fellowship and discussions addressing matters affecting women\, families and communities. \nThe conference will also create a platform for women from different dioceses and communities to share experiences\, build meaningful relationships and learn from one another. \nInspired by the Early Church\nActs 2:42–47 describes how the early believers lived together in faith and fellowship\, sharing what they had\, supporting those in need and worshipping God with unity and gladness. \nThis biblical example will inspire participants to reflect on how Christian women today can strengthen their families\, churches and communities through love\, service\, prayer\, generosity and unity. \nEmpowering Women for Christian Service\nWomen have a vital role in the life and ministry of the Church.
