Women from Across the Northern Region to Gather for Four Days of Faith, Fellowship and Spiritual Renewal

Nebbi Diocese is set to host the Northern Region Women’s Conference from 15th to 18th December 2026, bringing together women from across the Northern Region for a significant gathering of worship, fellowship, prayer, Bible teaching and spiritual renewal.

The conference will be centred on a theme drawn from Acts 2:42–47, which presents a picture of the early Christian community devoted to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer.

The passage provides a strong foundation for the conference, emphasizing unity, faith, fellowship, generosity, prayer and care for one another.

A Gathering of Faith and Fellowship

The four-day conference will provide an opportunity for women to come together as one Christian family, strengthen their faith and encourage one another in their walk with Christ.

Participants are expected to take part in worship services, Bible teachings, prayer sessions, testimonies, fellowship and discussions addressing matters affecting women, families and communities.

The conference will also create a platform for women from different dioceses and communities to share experiences, build meaningful relationships and learn from one another.

Inspired by the Early Church

Acts 2:42–47 describes how the early believers lived together in faith and fellowship, sharing what they had, supporting those in need and worshipping God with unity and gladness.

This biblical example will inspire participants to reflect on how Christian women today can strengthen their families, churches and communities through love, service, prayer, generosity and unity.

Women have a vital role in the life and ministry of the Church. Through their service in families, congregations and communities, they contribute greatly to the growth of the Church and the wellbeing of society.

The Northern Region Women’s Conference will therefore be an opportunity to encourage, equip and strengthen women as they continue serving God and making a positive difference in their communities.
